World book exchange service

On the site I approached several times different themes on the evolution of my profession. There is writing on the one hand but also the environment in which it is brought to move. A few months ago, I got a certificat following the follow-up of a course. It outlines the measures to be put in place for better accessibility of content within the specific framework of accessible books and publishing. A large set of concepts has been addressed in a general way. If you are wondering about this, the ABC consortium will provide you with more information.

Did you know that? there is a world book exchange service.

Information and link to the Theater

When I work on an art project, I do researches. Some are directly related to the creative phase and others concern implementation. Here is an address to a platform offering support for live theatrical performances. You will find the link here.

Freedom to dream

I told you about fighting against the lack of inspiration. Here are some tips. Whenever I got stuck on an idea, I played music and drew. For example, I was making improvements to the stagecoach by representing it. This allowed me to give a certain originality to it. I listened to the training I had followed, I reviewed my notes. If nothing helped it meant that an element did not correspond to the writing of the book. This can happen if you control your characters too much. They have their own existence within the book. The story freezes when one or more characters act opposite to their personality.

Playing with text

When I wrote Fantastic L.A, I played a lot with the characters and all the objects used to solve the riddle. For example, crosswords. While thinking about them, I did some research and discovered the origin of the first crosswords. On the original document, definitions and a grid. In the center the word : fun (joy in French).

With the definitions of the original document that you will find at the end of my post, I wrote this short poem :

What we all should be ?

A daydream, a pigeon, a part of the ship

What artists learn to do ?

Opposed to less, exchanging the plurial of this

Changing your writing places

All authors have their writing habits. Some like to write quietly in their home, others in a park or any other place that inspires them. For my part, I like to write in my office and from time to time in another place. It’s like a kind of exercise that allows me to learn to adapt to different writing conditions. I sometimes go to a tea room where the decoration of objects fascinates me. Then, I need a little time to adapt to refocus. The type of writing is different from my office. I invite you to change your habits in writing in another places. Here are some photos.

Alias or not ?

When you began to write to publish, this question comes to you. What are the reasons for using an alias? I think, they are of two kinds. The first is to preserve your anonymity, the other one to create a second identity.
There are situations where authors feel a danger by publishing under their real name. Let’s take the case of the denunciation of illegal or violent acts through a book, thus providing testimony as a victim (illicit activities within a company, by example).
In a different case, opting for a pen name is also the possibility of publishing texts in a new style. Some authors do this with the aim of testing a new audience. For my part, I wrote a first short story under a pseudonym. I didn’t want to reveal my name when posting at that time. Then I realized that I felt it was important for me Several years later, I replaced the pseudonym (used for my novel) with one of my surnames.
